The Willow Project is the largest oil and gas project ever proposed in the US.
Over 1 million people sent letters to the White House to prevent it. More than 5 million signed petitions. Congressional offices were contacted over 80,000 times and 33 Representatives signed on.
Some noteworthy achievements:
Not one article or decision maker discussing Willow denied climate change. You proved that the vast majority of Americans know and care about it.
After Biden approved the decision, 18-29 year old voters approval of his climate record dropped from 48% to 35%. You proved that action that hurts our chances at a healthy future is a politically foolish decision.
Germany began taking parliamentary action against the U.S. to stop Willow (and projects like it) and over 53,000 Germans wrote in to join us. Content has been made in multiple languages from creators all over the world. You proved that we are a family willing to stand together.
