Dear Vice President Kamala Harris,
I am writing to you to express my concern about the urgency of the climate crisis and the critical nature of this election. I urge you to prioritize and present a detailed, actionable plan to address the scale of the crisis and to strengthen enthusiasm among young voters. You have been clear about how you have taken on climate action before: you have held Big Oil accountable as Attorney General and were part of the administration that passed the largest investment in climate ever and created thousands of green jobs.

We only have six years to stop the climate crisis. We can’t do that with half-measures or with Donald Trump as President. We need a detailed plan that addresses how we will accomplish this climate action and how we will be able to see this climate action in our everyday lives.

78% of young voters in key swing states have said they are motivated to vote by the candidate’s stance on climate. A detailed climate plan to stop the climate crisis, create green jobs, and hold Big Oil accountable will be the winning message we need to drive historic youth voter turnout to the polls and defeat Donald Trump.

Vice President Harris, we stand at a crossroads. The decisions we make today will determine the future of our planet for generations to come. We must have a climate plan that is bold enough to stop the climate crisis and Donald Trump. Our future depends on it.
