Gov. Hogan, Marylanders Need Time to Care

After years of tireless advocacy and organizing work, the Time to Care Act (SB275) has successfully passed out of the Maryland General Assembly! This legislation is set to establish the first-ever statewide paid family and medical leave program in Maryland. But there’s still one more hurdle for the bill to go through before it officially becomes law — approval by the Governor.

The bill is on Gov. Hogan’s desk, and now we’re waiting to see whether he’ll sign it, veto it, or allow it to become law without his signature. Please take a minute to use this email tool we’ve put together to urge Gov. Hogan to sign SB275 into law so Maryland workers receive the Time to Care they deserve.

You're welcome to customize the email if you wish. When you click "add your voice", the email will be sent to the Governor's inbox.
