Take action for Chicago's rideshare drivers

Chicago's Rideshare drivers deserve a living wage.

The Uber and Lyft corporations make their profits by doing as little as they can for the drivers that make their business run. Ever since they came to Chicago ten years ago, demand for drivers has increased while driver pay has tanked. Chicago drivers have had enough.

The Rideshare Living Wage and Safety Ordinance will protect driver safety, create a transparent system to handle driver deactivations and appeals, and raise wages while keeping passenger fares steady by capping the amount of money these companies are allowed to take from their drivers after each ride. Please encourage your alderman and Mayor Brandon Johnson to support this ordinance by sending our letter!

Tell Chicago's City Council to pass the Rideshare Living Wage and Safety Ordinance!

The Rideshare Living Wage and Safety Ordinance will protect the safety of drivers on the job, ensure they are paid a living wage, prevent them from being deactivated from the Uber and Lyft apps with no explanation, warning, or appeals process, and prevent passenger fares from increasing by capping the amount that the Uber and Lyft corporations can take from each ride.
