End Fossil Fuel Subsidies: Big fossil fuel companies receive $15 billion every year in direct government subsidies –– and even claimed $8.2 billion in 2020 from tax-law changes in the CARES Act pandemic relief bill. The US government has propped up the coal, oil, and gas industry for decades, even though a majority of voters want to end fossil fuel subsidies.
