In January 2020, Ottawa City Council declared a housing and homelessness emergency. Since then, housing affordability has worsened for so many of us and more people are sleeping outside.

Increasing the supply of affordable and supportive housing.
Addressing barriers to housing assistance.
Protecting communities that are most at risk of homelessness.
Preventing homelessness.
