Keep the Pressure: Call on our State Leaders to Protect 340B

The state budget was due April 1, but our lawmakers have given themselves an extension. This gives us an extra opportunity to save 340B.

The Governor has forced the carveout process to begin, but we can still end it. The State Senate and State Assembly can demand a budget that protects community health center patients and staff, but they need to hear from us.

By completing the form with your address and clicking "Make the call," you will be automatically patched through to the two most powerful state legislators: Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. Please be sure to have your phone nearby. A script will appear on your screen to guide you.

Please reach out to Kaitlin Abrams at k.abrams@housingworks.org or 347-598-1188 with any questions.

"Hello, my name is [_______]. I am calling to ask your office's continued support to save safety net healthcare and support the 340B compromise.

Community health centers like mine are just 3 weeks away from a fiscal cliff caused by the carveout. Vulnerable New Yorkers and healthcare workers are facing clinic closures and job losses statewide. Please continue to fight for us in the budget."
