Charting a Course for a Healthier Nation
CNA is calling on all nurses to speak up and lend their voices by urging candidates in their ridings to support CNA’s 2021 federal election priorities:
- Support health workers by providing long-term mental health supports and better workforce data.
- Expand access to virtual care by developing a pan-Canadian digital health strategy and improving access to high-speed internet.
- Meet the needs of Canada’s older adults by redesigning the long-term care sector and providing more funding for seniors care.
- Fight racism and discrimination by providing clean drinking water in Indigenous communities and increasing the diversity and cultural competency training of the health workforce.
