Illinois Rep. Will Davis and Sen. Bill Cunningham are sponsoring a bill that can put Illinois on the path to 100% clean energy.

Illinois lawmakers took an important step to boost the state’s clean energy leadership by passing the Future Energy Jobs Act in 2016. The Bill contained provisions to boost jobs, economic benefits, and clean energy for people across the state.

Since then, clean energy has been working for Illinois. More Illinoisans have access to clean energy and are joining the growing workforce. We need to keep up this momentum and power forward!

Rep. Davis and Sen. Cunningham have just announced a plan to build on this success with the Path to 100 Act. If Illinois passes this law, it will:

• Maintain and create thousands more wind and solar energy jobs
• Extend tax benefits to more solar customers
• Ensure equitable access to workforce training and job opportunities
• Remove red tape and other barriers to bringing renewable energy and battery systems to Illinois, improving energy freedom and resiliency in our communities
• And more!
