 As Canada recovers from the COVID pandemic, it is critical that we invest in housing, homelessness and income support now to help those in need and stimulate the economy.

To make these investments, we need targeted funding focused on prevention to address the causes of homelessness. Recent Canadian studies have shown that 50% of at-risk youth had their first homeless experience before the age of 25. We must take action now to shift this trajectory by investing in the wrap-around supports that at-risk youth, women and children need to find long-term stable housing solutions.
